Hello Drama Parents!
Welcome to the world of High School Musical Jr. here at CNH.  

1. REHEARSALS DATES - CLICK HERE for our Rehearsal Calendar.

1. REHEARSAL TIMES - Our rehearsals generally run from 2:30-4:00 PM.  With the exception of a few weeks before our show, in which case we will end at 5:00 PM.  These are all noted on our calendar.  
   1. However, these times mean that our rehearsal ends at 4:00 PM and your child may have to pack up his or her things before they can get to the car; or it may mean that they have to take care of their costume before they can leave the building.  We will do their best to allow for this “clean-up” but there will be times we will need to go directly up to 4:00 PM.
   2. If your child ever must leave directly at 4:00 PM please send them with a note that they can give to our stage managers at the beginning of rehearsal so that we know they will have to begin packing up a little early.
   3. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding with this.
2. PARENT HELP - There is a parent meeting scheduled for THIS WEDNESDAY, Jan. 31st at 6:00 PM in the LGI.  We hope you can join us to ask questions and learn how you can be involved in our production.  There are lots of ways to be involved, even if you work on them at home.  
3. CREW STUDENTS - Most of our crew will be scheduled to meet at the same time the cast does, but there are a few teams that will meet separately.  
   1. Stage Managers & Asst. to the Director - These three students need to be at all cast rehearsals and may need to attend other meetings with crews as well.  They are responsible for making sure our space is clean and ready for classes the next day and will frequently have meetings with the directors after rehearsal.  The parents of these students should plan to pick up their child between 4:15 and 4:30PM.
   2. Costumes and Props Crews - meet anytime the cast does, so you can follow that schedule.
   3. Scenic Painters - This team is meeting on Tuesdays after school right now.  This may change based on the space they need to work.
   4. Publicity - This team will meet separately and will schedule their meetings as they go.  Their next meeting will be held Tuesday, February 13th
   5. Memory Keepers - These students will make their own schedule based on when they can attend cast rehearsals so that they can take pictures.
   6. Backstage Help -  These students are chosen from our other crews.  It is based on their work leading up to the show.
4. COSTUMES - There will be several items that your child will need to provide for our show this year.  It is not expected that you purchase brand new items for these needs, unless you choose.  We recommend thrift shops or borrowing items from others.  We will send home a comprehensive list of items your child will need to assist with finding for their costume.
5. COMMUNICATION - Our primary means of communication with parents and students will be email.  We will also utilize Google Classroom (which also will send the student an email that something has been posted) for announcements, documents, and other resources. Our website (www.cnhcep.com) will also have some helpful information posted on it, so check the drama page if you can’t find the information in an email.​​
